Juliana Willsen was living and working in a remote location deep in the mountains of Montana when she had a life-changing health crisis that left her severely debilitated.
In 2016, Juliana was exposed to a neurotoxic mold called Stachybotrus chartarum. This exposure damaged her brain and her body to the point she could no longer do her job or the activities she’d always loved like hiking, biking and running. For a period of time, she could barely walk or even read. The mold exposure also left her extremely sensitive to toxins in her environment. She had trouble going most places outside of her home due to hypersensitivities to mold and chemicals. Life became extremely limited and very small.
In 2019 Juliana discovered Cate Stillman and Yogidetox. She did her first seasonal Ayurvedic detox. This was a major turning point on her journey back to health. Her symptoms and sensitivities started decreasing in ways she’d stopped believing was even possible. She enrolled in Cate’s Body Thrive course and began integrating the daily habits of Ayurveda into her life. She began to get her energy, her clarity, her power, her life back.
Juliana now believes so strongly in the power of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and the healing power of supportive groups that she has started a journey to become a health coach! She joined Cate’s Yoga Health Coaching program last year and will be leading her own group through a year-long course on the daily habits of Ayurveda this spring.
