[Rapid City] What went down. Part 2.
I heard you wanted more photos… with clever explanations from me. Ask and you receive. And… if you want to check out the details for Mexico – you should.
When we booked the retreat in Rapid, we had no idea what to expect. Soon after landing, we explored.
“Rachel Peters! Is that what I think it is? WTF,” I exclaim.
Annie Barrett doing the Dino Dance.
After our unplanned post-lunch hike up Dinosaur mountain, Amanda Hemmingsen, (LAC + Awake Living), and I explore lovely downtown Rapid, and stumble on the possibility of Conscious Conversation (with capital C’s… if you know what they mean.)
Another post-lunch hiker group, gettin’ after it.
In style, thanks to Zotial, and sparty pants, hot pants, YHC Kristin Polzien. P. H. D. (Miria – hot pants requested at the next retreat.)
The conquerors of the SMO above Rapid. It stands for something. YHC power hiker posse Miria, Maggie, Debbie, Allison, Nev-e-g, Kristen… and me incognito, yet still “on brand” in the shades and trucker hat.
Batool leads us out of dodge… to visit the heavy hitters in the hills. (look close above her fingers)
The YHC Heathers – Pippi-Longstocking fashion icons – on the trail.
Catching fall foliage with YHC posse.
The more experienced I become as tribe leader here, the more I show up at retreats without much of an agenda. I show up available, curious about where our conversation will go. Curious about how we’ll explore the ecosystem. Curious about what we’ll accomplish.
P.s. It was magical, autumnal bliss in the Black Hills. I think we’ll be back, Batool.
