Women are Water – Part 2
Women are Water
Quick review on part 1: Own your midline. Keep our watery bodies uncongested, unpolluted and grounded.
First – thank you for the overwhelmingly positive response from Part 1. I am thrilled to have connected with you all.
Now, we’ve established the premise: we need to own the midline; women have more water; men have more fire; water pollutes easily; polluted water disrupts the clarity needed to own our center.
Water has the properties (gunas) of flow, wet, soft, cloudy, and cool. Stress has the properties of acid: sharp, hot, spreading, intense, burning. There are a few opposites in there.
Water is bounded only by that which contains it (a glass, for instance). Stress has the property of spreading and moves quickly through water. In our bodies that is the lymph system, or the rasa dhatu, or the first layer of tissue created out of nutrients in our body. Modern day stresses can be chunked into one category: disconnect from the universal life force; contract into anaerobic response.
Anaerobic = without prana
Stress shows up differently for the different bodyypes. Yet, stress is acidic (not alkaline) for everyone. Prana is alkaline, not acidic. We want to make the inputs through our sense organs alkaline… for the most part. (next week I’ll get into the different bodytypes).
with prana = aerobic
with prana = alive
with prana = connection to the universal.
Your essential question:
Is your prana intake plan keeping up with your modern (stressful) lifestyle?
Prana intake happens through breath, movement, meditation and food. For food to have prana it has to be alive. Living food, if we have the power to digest it, does not create additional stress on the body. For most of us, this is a frighting adjustment, and it will take time for your body to shift metabolically from cooked food to living food. For those who want the transformation course on this, do the yogidetox.
Start your day with a Wild Prana Green Beverage:
Drink your greens every morning. Yes, every morning. Eat the weeds in your yard and stop stop stop using chemicals to kill them. Most of your weeds are edible and more purifying to the water channels of your body than the organic greens in the store. Natural, wild foods have the highest prana content and quality. Here is my typical late spring/early summer smoothie:
Cate’s Wild Weed Super Smoothie
Make 2 quarts for you and your friend
- one wild thistle
- one bunch dandelion greens, roots & flowers
- 1 handful alfalfa greens
- 1handful of grass (we don’t spray)
- 1 handful of lambs quarter
- 1/8 tsp. stevia
- 4 c. water
- 1 apple
- 1 c. blueberries (kids like bananas better)
- 2 tbsp. hemp seeds
- 1/4 c. chia seeds
Wild Weed Super Smoothiework best in a Vitamix or Blendtec. Otherwise, blend the greens and water first. Squeeze firmly through a nutmilk bag. Take the liquid and combine with the other ingredients.
