Winter Traditions interviews John Friend
By Cate Stillman
In the spirit of gifting,
I wanted you to hear and share my interview with John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga, for the Winter Traditions Project. John has such a tremendous way of elevating us to our highest potential with not only our practices, but with each other especially.
In this 30 minute audio John shares wisdom and shakti on the following topics and more:
- cycles of darkness and light, depression and the pineal gland
- practices around the solstice
- being the light, uplifting others
- santa clause and the sushumna de-mythified
& the last 2 minutes of the call, unpacked for yogis
hohoho
Thank you readers, clients, students, colleagues, teachers, for an excellent year of tremendous year of transformation, collective evolution and love. I so look forward to sharing 2011 with you and what may come to be.
May your winter days be full of sparkle and may your winter nights be deeply replenishing.

I’m so glad you interviewed John. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but I’m only hearing the tail end of the interview. Is it supposed to be 30 min?
Thank you for interviewing John. He is always so informative.
Blessings,

Posted at 19:35h, 27 DecemberDear Cate,
Dear Cate,
Thank you for supporting me with the Practice of Ayuvedic through 2010 and the three years before (cannot believe that it has been that long!). I have been traveling a lot during December to warm climates and cold alike and the practices continue to keep me in balance!
I so look forward to your teachings in the coming 2011!
Much love to you and yours during this holiday season & the New Year!
Mahalove,
Laurie
